Holding yourself accountable for being the architect of your own life is eXtraOrdinary

“Blaming others for your current situation in life is ordinary; Holding yourself accountable for being the architect of your own life is eXtraOrdinary.”- Naveen Lakkur

In an innovation journey, The easy way in most situations when the desired outcomes aren’t as per our expectations, is to blame others. In reality it brings no much benefit by doing so, other than satisfying our ego and helping to run away from failure. Rather it might create more damage to our relationships and disempower future endeavors.

On the other hand, it takes courage to hold yourself accountable for being the architect of your own life and the situation. The 3 little extras that can help you do so, are:

  1. Accept the situation as it is.
  2. Associate failure to an ‘Event’ and not ‘You’
  3. Assume responsibility to try again by bringing about the Change required in a meaningful way.
