Dr. Jagdish Chaturvedi is an ENT surgeon and is the founder and CEO of HiiiH Innovations Pvt LTD. He is a serial innovator.

Since 2010, he has co-invented and developed 18 affordable medical devices addressing the unmet needs in the Indian healthcare system, many of which have been taken over by indigenous companies, while some have formed startup companies for further development and commercialization.
He is recognized as one of the 35 innovators under the age of 35 by the MIT technology review 2016. He is the author of the best-selling book on medical device innovations in India called “Inventing Medical Devices – A perspective from India”.
He continues his clinical career by running his private evening ENT clinic and carries out surgical procedures at Fortis Hospital, Bangalore as Associate Consultant in Ear, Nose and Throat surgery.
Dr. Jagdish Chaturvedi studied at St. John’s Medical College and Hospital in Bengaluru. He is a Stanford-India Biodesign Fellow, and holds an MBA degree in Entrepreneurship and Hospital Management. His Little Extra enthusiasm to study even topics out of syllabus, he learnt that ”Laughter is the best medicine”. He took it to his heart and as a doctor pledged to prescribe ‘Laughter as a Medicine’ to everyone. He observed that people love laughing and enjoy the most when they laugh with others. He chose to be a Little Extra and became a stand-up comedian, popularized by his YouTube channel “Jagdish Chaturvedi”.
Innovation journeys are usually challenging and failure comes as part and parcel of it. Dr. Jagdish Chatruvedi has learnt the art of laughing at his own failures and goes an extra mile to share it with others, making others laugh at it. By this he draws courage to try again even if he fails. He believes that if his initiative succeeds, then it’s an ‘innovation’; but if it fails, then it’s an ‘input’ to his comedy show to get everyone to laugh.
