“True entrepreneurship is not about learning tricks of the trade; it’s about learning the trade” – Naveen Lakkur
ENTREPRISING ~ Rising in Entrepreneurship
Some entrepreneurs are so busy learning the tricks of the trade that they never learn the trade.
The “tricks” are there to help you learn and become a master of the trade. You must learn the entire trade to succeed! Commit to learning the trade. Practice, role play, ask for help, make mistakes, learn from them, master it! The tricks will help you work smarter, but they won’t make you the best you can be.
Entrepreneurs usually take help from individuals also known as mentors, who guide them in their decision-making processes, ventures, day-to-day activities etc. These mentors don’t necessarily tell you what to do but guide you on how to do it best. If you are well-versed with the trade, learning its tricks automatically becomes a piece of cake.
