Arvind Thiagarajan understood this philosophy of life and chose to be a Little Extra, utilize the phenomena of the body and use the power of technology to help save as many lives as possible. 

Arvind Thiagarajan is the Founder & CEO of HD Medical Inc, USA. He is an inventor and entrepreneur with a history of founding, advising and building technology companies.

He graduated from the College of Engineering, Guindy one of the four constituent colleges of the Anna University in India with an engineering degree in Electronics and Communications. Arvind specializes in signal processing and algorithm development with multiple granted and pending patents along with several award winning technical publications under his name.

His inventions have helped in screening thousands & thousands of people in India and worldwide. The HD Medical ViScope® Visual Stethoscope, invented by Arvind, was used to screen 30,000 children as part of the National Rural Health Mission initiative in Kerala State in India to detect cardiac murmurs and defects.

Arvind was given a special award from Member of Parliament for Science & Technology from the Government of India for his contributions to research & science. And his work as part of HD Medical, won the ‘Socially Relevant Product’ award in IIT Madras.

Arvind was mentored by Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, Scientist & the former President of India.

Arvind’s latest invention ‘HealtyU’ – a little device which helps monitor patients’ vital sciences including a 7 lead ECG without any wires providing instant cardiac insights, even from home. The device helps in capturing & presenting unlimited response the body is providing. With the timely intervention, a life can be saved with limited action and pain.
